Update from our agency

This is the July update we received today from our agency:

We just received 10 referrals for families with log in dates up to July 5, 2005. CCAA has not updated their web site yet so we are not sure of the exact cut off date. The girls are from the Hunan Province. Their ages range from 8-14 months old.

Referral Wait- The wait is about 12 months from log in date. We do expect a longer wait into 2006.

Rumor

The current rumor states that referrals were mailed on Wednesday with a cut off date of July 13. That's 15 days this month - two more than last month.
I really hope they return to matching full months soon. At the current rate, we won't receive our referral for another year! It just gets so frustrating sometimes! I know it's out of our hands, but I sure wish the hands in China would move faster!
On another note - our latest fundraising idea is bottle returns. If anyone doesn't want to bother with lugging their bottles back to redemption, give us a call and we will deposit the money in our orphanage donation account.

Our bedroom

We painted our bedroom over the weekend. The color is called Dill Weed. It took us two days to get it done, but it was well worth it!
